Livescience.com released an article entitled, "Green Purchasing Up, Despite Economy." This is a tremendous finding! Consumers are not only looking, but actually buying, products and services that are better for our environment. A caveat must be noted here, some admit that they don't investige a product or service claim to be green. Well, we certainly don't want to advocate blind purchasing in this manner, but it is noble of these consumers to at least look for "green" in the first place. Often times that is the hardest step. With the vastness of the internet along with the countless organizations whose mission is some form of "green," checking labels and claims can be easy. But above all else, keep sending the signals to market about your desire for all things GREEN.
It is a good first step to think about going green and it's a good second step to realize that not all green claims are created equal. A healthy dose of life cycle thinking for making better sustainable living choices is a good way forward.
