The
much beleaguered U.S. Chamber of Commerce has had a rough PR month with several
members leaving the Chamber because of their spirited criticism to limit greenhouse
gases. If you haven't seen the news, several large companies have dropped
out of the U.S. Chamber in protest as a result.
If you didn't catch CNBC the other day, it appears that someone pulled a fast one on the news agencies, and they bought it. See the video below for some entertaining laughs on the serious subject of climate change. Will the real U.S. Chamber of Commerce please stand up, please stand up...
On a more relevant and fact-based note, the Arlington County Chamber of Commerce and the Fresh AIRE team have been working together to reach the broader business community on issues ranging from energy and water conservation to recycling and transit.
The Fresh AIRE program is partnering with Arlington Chamber members to reduce green house gas emissions, leave a lighter footprint on the environment, and help Arlington businesses save money. Please visit our AIRE partner page to learn about FRESH AIRE partnership and to view our two newest partners that have committed to take action, Kodiak Realty Services LLC and Pure Media Sign Studio.
The (fake) press conference was rather humorous too: LINK
